Small Business Program Information
Bechtel SAIC Company, LLC (BSC) is dedicated to providing maximum opportunities
for small, disadvantaged, women-owned, 8 (a), Native American, HUBZone,
and veteran owned entities to compete for supply and service contracts.
The BSC team has a long-established record of involving small business
concerns in meaningful roles in government and commercial contracting.
By setting challenging and aggressive goals, we strive to make small business
participation and development an integral aspect of our business approach.
BSC will continually identify and review all potential sources of supplies
and services, including, but not limited to, the following:

- National Minority Purchasing Council Vendor Information Services
- Historical reports and data showing products and services obtained
from small business concerns by other associate contractors
- BSC small business fairs and forums designed to attract additional
small business sources

Development Agency
To establish BSC subcontracting goals and commitments, we gathered applicable
program information from the Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management,
analyzed Yucca Mountain Project estimates, and forecasted probable acquisition
needs. The following percentage goals (expressed in terms of a percentage
of total planned subcontracting dollars) are as follows:
